 The Toyota Wigo 2022 is the Japanese automaker's entry to the hatchback segment, with a price that ranges from PHP 568,000 to PHP 700,000. It is offered in four variants starting from the E 1.0 MT and going up to the TRD S 1.0 AT which boasts a sportier finish. Only one engine option is used across the range, namely the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 65 hp and 89 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant. When it comes to dimensions, this hatchback is 3,660 mm long (3,700 mm for TRD), 1,600 mm wide, and 1,520 mm tall. In the local market, the Wigo is competing against the likes of Honda Brio, Kia Picanto, and Mitsubishi Mirage.

Just like the Toyota Rush, the Toyota Wigo is a rebadged Daihatsu model. It is called Agya in other markets. This is made possible by the partnership between Toyota Motor Corporation and Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. The Wigo remains to be one of the best-selling models in the country, finishing third in the sales race last 2020 with 9,145 units sold.
